The legenary Eric Clapton was born in Ripley (Surrey, England) in 1945. His parents divorced when he was two and he grew up with his grandparents, who bought him a guitar in 1960. After playing in a schoolband for a while he founded the band the Roosters in 1963. Later on the blues purist switched to Casey Jones & The Engineers. Eric Clapton played in legendary bands such as The Bluesbreakers, Cream and Blind Faith. Eric Clapton is currently working on a new album, so expect new material as well as the classics!.
