The all-American rock band Foo Fighters keep the spirit of grunge alive! While Dave Grohl was drumming with Nirvana, he was recording original songs at home that never received public release. Those songs would become the foundation of the Foo Fighters. The Foo Fighters were formed in 1995, after the death of Kurt Cobain. Like Nirvana, the Foo Fighters blend loud, heavy guitars with pretty melodies and mixed punk sensibilities with a sharp sense of pop songwriting.
