Jocelyn Brown is an R&B and dance music singer. Although she has only one Billboard Hot 100 chart entry to her credit ("Somebody Else's Guy," in 1984), she has an extensive background in the music industry and is considered legendary in the dance club music world. She has been a member of the groups Bad Girls, Inner Life, Salsoul Orchestra and Incognito and has sung background vocals for Luther Vandross, George Benson, John Lennon and others. She has over twenty hits on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart, four of which have hit number one ("Love's Gonna Get You" in 1986, "Keep On Jumpin'" in 1996, "Something Goin' On" in 1997 and "Fun" in 1998). Jocelyn Brown continues to record house music and is a sought-after session vocalist and "vocalist at large", and has been involved in recent releases by other artists.
